Flash had 9 puppies on August 22, 2007. I plan to repeat this breeding in the Fall of 2008.
I had the pleasure of training Dakota through his AKC Master Hunt test title. I have become very close friends with Dakota's owners and have gone on hunting trips with them and hunted over Dakota myself. He is everything I'd want in a hunting dog or a dog in general. He is a perfect gentleman in the house, is great with kids (he becomes a kid himself when he's around them!), and is a retrieving machine when it comes to working in the field whether we're hunting ducks, geese, pheasants, sharptail, etc. He's a dog that would hunt 24/7, if possible - it's truly in his heart. His owners are very active hunters and hunt EVERY day when home and also go to Maine, North & South Dakota, Florida, etc. Dakota has done the majority of the retrieving both at home and on the trips. I have trained many dogs and he is THE nicest, best chocolate I have ever trained - that is why I bred my dog, Flash to him.......
Flash is owned by myself and Renee' Haers (Owen and Renee' Haers are the owners of Dakota). Flash got her AKC Senior Hunt test title the summer of 2006 - she was 2 years old! The plan is to continue with her through Master - we' ve been training for it this spring and summer (and now will be taking some time out for maternity leave!) and hopefully run a Master test or two in the fall of 2007. Flash is also a good house dog (she's more mischievous than Dakota and needs to be crated when not supervised!) and has earned the "Great With Children" status since Owen and Renee' have two children - a baby born January 2007 and a 2 year old son! Flash has been hunted 2 seasons so far and has done very well - she's a lot of fun and loves her "job". Owen and Renee' kept a pup out of the first litter, Ruger, and he's now in training and loves to retrieve!
The chocolates will be $900.00 and the blacks will be $800.00. A $200 deposit will hold a pup and choice will be determined in the order that deposits are received.
