For info on Western New York Retriever Club's scheduled training days, areas available for training, test dates, membership applications, etc. Membership is encouraged but not required to participate in activities. Most activities are held on Tonawanda Wildlife Management Area and John White Management Area which are about 6 miles North of exit 48A of the I-90.
Western New York Federation of Hunting Dog Clubs
The Federation was formed June 29th 2005 to promote a positive public image of hunting dogs, hunting dog training, and hunting dog events and serve as a representative of the common interests of the member clubs.
This includes establishing, maintaining, and safeguarding hunting dog training and event grounds in Western NY as well as fostering cooperation and good relations among hunting dog clubs of Western NY.
The federation coordinates the scheduling of events and training days by member clubs to avoid conflicts in scheduling and allow timely coordination of scheduling with the parent organizations of the member clubs.
